The beginning of Modern Mechanic history
I am really enjoying reading some very old books to get into the science of motion.
The first book is actually Galileo's last book "Discourses and Mathematical Demonstrations Relating to Two New Sciences ", written in 1638. (This is very old book!)
It is the 1st modern book relating to the mechanic and motion.
It refers to Kinematics and Strength of Structure and discuss about dynamics of motion.
This book explains the laws of motion, such as the calculation of speed theorem.
It is a very interesting book!
It is a kind of back to basic so I can use to new design.
An interesting fact:
The year Galileo dies, 1642 is the year of Isaac Newton birth, another great scientist that led to the history of mechanics.
